Viral Ghost Shaped Pillow Dupes for Halloween 2025
This post is all about the best ghost shaped pillow finds for spooky season 2025!
If you are reading this, you probably saw the viral sherpa ghost pillows all over TikTok last year. Well, they’re back and ready to be adopted! Today’s roundup includes the Homegoods and Pottery Barn ghost pillows, plus similar Amazon and Etsy dupes that are just as cute and cozy.
Side note: If you cannot fathom thinking about spooky season right now, please continue enjoying summer! But if you wake up on July 5th and promptly start browsing Halloween decor, you are my people 😉

Ghost Shaped Pillow Roundup
Let me start by saying, I’m not always on board with decorating fads. But I’m realizing that cute seasonal pillows are my weakness! This is a no judgment zone if you feel the same way.
Last year the Pottery Barn ghost pillow and the Novogratz ghost pillows were some of the most popular Halloween decorations of the season. I managed to snag mine from Marshalls, but they went out of stock so quickly that I began searching for similar options to share.
Here is a roundup including the originals as well as dupes!
Which of these cuties is your favorite? I especially love this one!
Where to Buy Sherpa Ghost Pillows and Dupes
Novogratz Sherpa Ghost Pillows from Homegoods, Marshalls, TJ Maxx
I found my ghost shaped pillows online at the Marshalls website. The brand name is typically listed as Novogratz or Martha Stewart. These cute ghosts pop up every now and then, so be sure to check! Search Marshalls online here, and search TJ Maxx online here.
In addition, check your local TJ Maxx, Homegoods, and Marshalls on restock days to see if you can find the Novogratz ghost pillows in person.
Gus the Ghost and Ghost Pillow from Pottery Barn
Pottery Barn’s Gus the Ghost and ghost shaped pillow were also popular options last year. For 2025, Pottery Barn has even more cute ghosts, including Ms. Gus the Ghost. PB pillows are more expensive than the Homegoods options, but very cute and high quality.
Ghost Shaped Pillows Preowned at Mercari, Poshmark, eBay
The good news is that ghost shaped pillows seem much easier to find this year. But if you cannot find these cuties in store, your next best option is a resale website like Mercari, Poshmark, or eBay. There are already many listings up, including both white and pink Novogratz ghost pillows.
The downside to shopping from a reseller is that the price may be marked up. However, you can sometimes find good deals.
Handmade Plush Ghosts from Etsy Shops
A great alternative is to purchase a handmade ghost shaped pillow from Etsy. I love supporting Etsy small shops (I used to have one myself) and found so many cute options:
Amazon Ghost Shaped Pillow Dupes
Finally, if all else fails you can choose one of these cute ghost shaped pillows from Amazon:
How to Style Ghost Shaped Pillows
As for styling, I kept things simple by layering my ghosts with Halloween throw pillows on our linen accent chairs.
My kids loved them so much, and we are all excited for our ghosts (named Goldie and Gilbert) to come to visit again in 2025!
