Hello friends! It’s been a while since I shared our kitchen, so I thought I would give some design tips for spring. First, a Vintage Look Kitchen Runner

It’s machine washable! I had the pleasure of working with Ruggable on Instagram to feature their Alessia Dark Wood Rug in our kitchen. In the last few years, they have released more patterns and styles, as well as cushioned rug pads.

I decided to try a 2.5′ x 7′ runner + cushioned rug pad in our kitchen and it is so soft underfoot for food prep and washing dishes. The pattern is a combination of brown, beige, and subtle pinks.

This runner is wider than our old one, so it really fills out the space between the sink and the kitchen cart. Other features I like: the printed layer of the rug sticks to the cushioned rug pad, so there is no sliding. And the corners are reinforced so that they lay flat!

Side note: This blog post is not sponsored–I will always disclose if it is. I just wanted to share the new runner since we have had it for about a month now and I am so pleased with the look and functionality.

Neutral Spring Kitchen Decor Ideas

Next up, I wanted to share some simple neutral spring kitchen decor tips. You all know that I’m rely on decor basics and staples, so these will transition easily into summer too!

  1. One of my favorite ways to add warmth to our white kitchen is by leaning a wood cutting board against the backsplash.
  2. Layer a medium sized vase with some fresh or faux florals in front for a simple springy look. I brought in some color for the season with these mauve roses.
  3. Finally, include a brass accent for warmth and interest. I used my brass salt and pepper shakers, but you could also use a brass sculpture or bowl.

Apart from those simple touches, the star of my spring decor has to be these faux cherry blossom stems from Afloral. I cannot get enough of them (if you couldn’t tell). They are so romantic and cheerful! I used five stems here. This gray earthenware vase is one of my favorite staples lately and I like how the shape and color balances the clean lines and bright whites in our kitchen.

Are you a fan of neutral spring kitchen decor, or do you love including lots of color? I appreciate both looks! Hope you have a great day friends. XO,
