Our modern traditional Christmas living room will transition easily into winter with cozy throws, vintage artwork and greenery.
Welcome friends! Today I’m excited to share one more Christmas post with you! Whether you are still decorating, or all set for the season, I hope that this tour of our modern traditional Christmas living room brings you joy and a festive spirit. Grab a coffee or hot cocoa (my choice!) and let’s get started.

Wintery LIving Room decor
If you saw my Neutral Christmas Home Tour a few weeks ago, you’ll know that I’m keeping things simple this year to transition easily into winter. I’m loving vintage art prints such as this pinecone and this wintery landscape kindly gifted to me by one of my favorite small shops! I just purchased the top wood frame which is a great budget-friendly option. The bottom frame was a Homegoods find, but very similar.
I recently found this mini sparse tree and thought it would be cute on my accent stool!
We are still loving our round coffee table! We did not have one until this fall, and have enjoyed using it for books, drinks, and usually toys 😉 Here I styled it with my DIY aged stone vase, faux eucalyptus (similar), and my favorite bottle brush trees. If you are on the hunt, check out my round up of coffee tables under $300.
As for pillows, I added this one with pine branches (similar), but otherwise didn’t change a thing since my post about pillow combinations!
Modern Traditional Christmas Tree
We have another tree in our dining room this year, so I kept the living room tree simple. We have since added our family ornaments to this one! But I had fun creating this minimal look with metallic ornaments (similar), wooden garland, and burgundy ribbons. Our cashmere tree is prelit and a great price point for the size and quality.
I was able to snap a few photos in the evening so you can see the nighttime glow! (Side note, these evening photos give a better representation of our woven wood roman shades, which are difficult to capture in daylight.)
I hope you enjoyed this tour of our modern traditional Christmas living room! Now that Christmas is only a week away, I’m excited to wrap gifts, watch festive movies with my family, and spend time resting and reflecting. It has been a challenging year in many ways, but I know we have much to be thankful for. What are you looking forward to this week? Let me know in the comments! XO,
