Shopping for linen accent chairs–or the look for less? A few weeks ago I shared our living room furniture refresh plan which included affordable accent chairs. I absolutely love the linen accent chairs I see in designer spaces, but they were not in my price range, so I spent some time researching budget friendly alternatives. I found these slouchy lounge chairs that are only a fraction of the cost, but they were currently unavailable. Fast forward a month, and I received an in stock alert! It was one of those moments when you have planned and mulled over a decision, and the timing seems perfect. Today I’ll be sharing the current situation in our living room, as well as linen accent chairs at different price points. Let’s get started!

In the roundup above I included a few 100% linen chairs, but most are budget-friendly options!

If you would like to do a little more research comparing the save and splurge options for linen accent chairs, here are two collections for you to browse! Keep in mind that the “save” options are linen-blend or linen-look fabrics that can help you achieve a designer look on a budget. The “splurge” options will offer higher quality craftsmanship, and the benefits of real linen which is durable, breathable, and luxurious.

Berea Slouchy Lounge Chair from Target
Here is a closer look at the Berea slouchy lounge chair in our living room. The Target website lists both polyester and linen as textiles, but I have not been able to find a tag to confirm that. Whether they are linen blend or simply linen look, it’s a very good look! You can see in the image below that the fabric has variation in color and texture, and I absolutely love the French seams.
While we are waiting on our sofa to arrive, I have been playing around with different living room layouts. The wood frame accent chairs were also a recent purchase to replace the mid century ones we had, that just didn’t fit my style anymore.
Which living room setup do you prefer? I love the look of the woven cubes, but my kiddos like to jump off of them so we have stuck with the other option 😉
