Girls Room Makeover Design Plan
Two years ago I shared my daughter’s toddler room. She is now nearing five years old, so I wanted to give her room a refresh with new curtains, bedding, and decor. In addition, my daughter received a large wooden dollhouse for Christmas, so I needed to rearrange the bedroom furniture. Today I’ll be sharing a girls room makeover design plan featuring velvet curtains, mauve bedding, floral artwork, classic decor, and a cozy accent chair for reading books together.

Girls Room Makeover Mood Board
Here is the plan for my daughter Ladybug’s room! I have already purchased several of the items over the last few months and have been working on putting it all together. Hopefully I will be able to share a reveal in just a few weeks. Here are the decor sources:

The Wooden Dollhouse
Ladybug received this large wooden dollhouse for Christmas and I wanted to give it a special place as a part of her big girls room makeover. We moved her toy organizer into the closet so that the dollhouse would fit against this wall, and it looks so cute.
In addition, we have had so much fun playing with all of my old Barbies! I’m just not sure if I should decorate around the dollhouse. For example, maybe a few rattan hooks or small framed pictures for a “collected” look?
