The season of scarves, cinnamon, and cozy decor has arrived! Come enjoy a classic fall home tour featuring muted blues, fresh greenery, natural textures, warm wood tones, and lots of cozy layers.
It is one of the most exciting days of the year–fall home tour day! This week I am teaming up with some of my blogger friends for the Brilliant Colors of Fall Home Tour, hosted by Mansa from Simplicite. I’m sure you were inspired by Lisa’s beautiful space over at Cottage Style Blog, and I’m honored to have you stop by for our classic fall home tour!
If you are new to Caitlin Marie Design, welcome. I’m Caitlin, a lover of interiors, seasons, and books. Autumn has long held a special place in my heart! Crisp days, apple treats, harvest fun, and cozy evenings are some of my favorite things. We moved into our new build almost three years ago, and I have loved the journey of making our house a home, beautiful and functional for our family of four. Please, come on in!

Classic Fall Entryway with Pumpkins and Eucalyptus
If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that our entryway decor changes frequently. This console table, which was handmade by a friend, is one of my favorite spaces to style for the seasons!
The autumnal landscape painting is a digital piece from Juniper Print Shop that I had printed on canvas. The colors are just perfect for fall. I balanced the lamp with a large vase full of fresh eucalyptus, and added a few pumpkins from my local grocery store. I love the look of heirloom pumpkins, and this muted green one made my heart go pitter patter when I spotted it!
Stacked coffee table books are a simple way to add texture and warmth to any space. These are some of my favorites!
Classic Fall Home Tour: Fall Florals in the Dining Room
I just shared a fall tablescape last week, but thought I would put together a more simple look for this tour. I chose some orange blooms and greenery at my grocery store to create a harvest inspired arrangement. This round basket adds texture and is perfect for filling with small white pumpkins!
Check out my fall tablescape with fresh florals and greenery for a more foraged, romantic look and place setting inspiration!
Classic Fall Home Tour: The Living Room
The living room–my favorite place to curl up with a blanket, book, and cup of tea! It is possible to have a clean and minimal home that still feels cozy. Baskets, pillows, throw blankets, and warm wood tones are my go-to ways to create a warm and inviting space.
Side Table Decor and Greenery
This metal side table is a relatively new addition, and I love how functional it is! We keep a few current magazines on the shelf, and some of our kiddos’ toys in the white coiled basket. Let’s be honest, usually the top of the table is bare because of all of the running and playing that happens here, but to style this space I added a wide glass vase (similar) full of eucalyptus.
This rattan side table is also usually bare, because–kids! But for today I added a bud vase with more eucalyptus and a few sculptural candle holders. The interesting shapes add an unexpected touch!
Blue and Neutral Throw Pillows
I like to use pillow covers that I can swap out to create new combinations and looks each season. For fall this year I decided to use muted blue, terra cotta brown, cream, and black. Lately my favorite place to find pillows is Homegoods. I will link some similar options here!
Storage Ottoman Fall Decor
Our living room is still a work in progress. Someday I would love to swap out the storage ottoman for a round whitewashed wood coffee table–can you tell I already have a plan?–but for now the ottoman is functional for our family. I dressed it up with an inexpensive Turkish towel and a wooden dough bowl. A few more books and pumpkins fill out the space!
Wood Frame Accent Chairs
Finally, we are still loving our neutral accent chairs!
Classic Fall Ladder Shelf Styling
The last space I am sharing for our fall home tour is our ladder shelf, another area of our home I enjoy restyling frequently! I kept things very simple, but added these sepia fern botanical prints for an autumnal touch. The bottleneck vase is new, a recent Homegoods find that I wish I could link for you! I love the dipped look and the cement texture.
