The magical month of October has arrived! This year the weather surprised us and transitioned overnight for the first day of fall. Today I wanted to celebrate by sharing a cozy fall home tour for 2022. For the last few months I have been sharing all of the cozy fall decor inspiration, but wanted to put all of the photos together in one post to give the tour experience to those who enjoy that. We will meander through each room of our home styled for the season with organic modern decor and fall touches such as autumn branches, earth tones, and cozy layers. Cozy Fall Entryway Decor
Our first stop on this cozy fall home tour is our entryway. I kept our console table styling simple with these purple leaf branches (similar); they are some of my favorites and have made their way around our home! Here I styled five stems in a round gray vase.
This marble candle holder (similar) is also a recent addition, but can be styled for any season or even upside down as an arch. Apart from that, I did not change anything here as our console table already has an autumn vibe with warm wood tones and faux leather ottomans.
Cozy Fall Dining Room
These photos are from last year, but I plan to style a similar cozy fall tablescape for Thanksgiving this year. All of our dining room decor staples have remained the same! I love the organic modern look of the white table, black chairs (similar), and brown rug (similar).

Cozy Fall Home Tour: Living Room
Next up on our cozy fall home tour is the living room. This space has quite a different look compared to last year!
This spring we swapped our sectional for a white sofa and linen accent chairs. The new layout of the room feels much more balanced. With all of the light colored furniture, a dark wood coffee table grounds the space and I love how the turned wooden legs add interest.
This year I leaned heavily into earth tones to create a cozy fall vibe. I used my seasonal decor budget on the faux fall tree for the corner! Apart from the fall stems and tree, all of this decor will transition easily to other seasons.
Cozy Fall Kitchen Styling
I shared a lot of photos of our kitchen in my post about decorating above cabinets. You can see that I also styled my favorite plum branches here, as well as these strawflower bushes I have enjoyed for several years (this is three).
The key to cozy fall kitchen decor is warm tones and textures. Since our space is very neutral, I brought in the colors of the season with warm woods, seagrass baskets, faux stems, dried florals, and a brass canister.
Cozy Fall Home Tour: Bedroom Inspiration
Our last stop on this cozy fall home tour is our guest room. These photos are from a few years ago but I still love all of these pieces, especially the pillows. These ones are no longer available, but check out my post about fall throw pillow combinations for similar options and more ideas!
Finally, our vintage style rug is perfect for fall and pairs well with any combination of earth tones. A simple maple leaf bush adds an organic element and completes the look for fall.
What do you do to celebrate the beginning of autumn? We have been enjoying breezy days, adding pumpkins to the porch, and planning a few fall activities for the month ahead. One of my favorites is apple and pumpkin picking. But I also love staying home and snuggling up with a book and cup of tea!
