Welcome friends! It is hard to believe that there are only eight more sleeps until Christmas, and now that our home is decked with twinkle lights, garlands and cozy throws, I think it is time for a holiday home tour. This year I focused on adding simple, festive touches to each space so that these looks will transition easily into winter and beyond (minus the trees, of course 😉). I hope you’ll make yourself a mug of coffee or cocoa and come along!

Welcome to Our Cozy Christmas Home…
I shared a glimpse of our entryway in my holiday florals post, but here is the full view! A console table is a fun space to decorate seasonally because a few simple changes make all the difference. I swapped my fall florals for faux cedar branches, added brown bottle brush trees, and called it a day. These pieces are from last year but I am linking similar options above!
Minimalist Tree and Holiday Village
Welcome to our dining room, which is right across from the entry table. Ladybug helped me decorate this tree, and we used the same metallic ornaments and wood bead garlands as last year. If you have been following along on Instagram, you will have seen our Kirun sideboard from Article (gifted to me for a Pinterest campaign). It was exciting to swap out the toy storage shelf for something pretty and functional now that our kiddos are a bit older! The sideboard holds dishes, napkins, and decor and is the perfect spot for our Christmas village. I took a lot of photos of this space and will share more next week!
Modern Traditional Christmas Living Room
Come cozy up in our living room for a moment! I ordered a few more of these Hearth and Hand wood bead garlands that were on the dining room tree last year (using four here), brown velvet ribbon and a few new ornaments. Bug helped me with this tree! We kept the look minimal since we will be adding our family ornaments over the weekend. For the rest of this space, I used pillows and decor I already had, and put a Christmas artwork slideshow on the tv. I have a whole post about displaying artwork on your tv, if you are interested!
Simple Holiday Kitchen
Next up is our kitchen, which I have been slowly upgrading (without renovating) this year. In the past I never showed the kitchen much love because I was distracted by the things I wished I could change, but a perspective shift has helped me enjoy this space as it is. So for the first time, I hung two simple garlands over the window and spruced up the counters with bottle brush trees and holiday greenery. The gray kitchen cart has proven to be the perfect addition and makes this space feel much cozier. It isn’t usually this clean 😉 but the kitchen has been a fun place for hosting and making all the cups of hot chocolate.
Finishing Our Cozy Christmas Home Tour…
We’ll finish this year’s Christmas home tour with our primary bedroom. I focused on cozy layers and added ceramic houses and a tabletop tree on my nightstand for a festive touch. See more photos in this post!
Thank you for joining me today friends. You will have to let me know which space is your favorite, or one of your own favorite spaces to decorate. Wishing you a cozy and peaceful holiday season,
