Only five sleeps until the big day! Today I’m sharing our classic Christmas home tour featuring mixed greenery, burgundy accents, velvet ribbon, and organic elements. I used red in my holiday decor for the first time and just love how it turned out. But also included plenty of neutrals and cozy textures. Ready for the tour? Grab a cup of cocoa and let’s get started.

Classic Christmas Entryway
To begin this classic Christmas home tour, let’s step into the entryway. Our console table is one of my favorite spaces to decorate seasonally. I already shared a post about these spray painted wooden trees including more photos.
For the rest of the design, I filled out the table with an arborvitae garland and juniper berry stems (similar). Eucalyptus stems (similar), cedar branches, and white berries in a vase finish off the mixed greenery look! I kept this space neutral since it is visible throughout our main level.
Classic Christmas Dining Room
Opposite from the entryway you will find our dining room. In addition to decorating with red for the first time, I also styled my first flocked tree this year!
I kept things simple with silver ornaments and a paper mache star (mine was from McGee & Co a few years back). Large wavy bows made of striped ribbon (similar) make a statement and feel so classic.
Halfway through the season I added vintage tree wall art to our dining room. You will find all of the details in that post.
My exact burgundy eucalyptus stems from Michaels are not currently available, but these would give the same look.
Classic Christmas Living Room
Next up on this classic Christmas home tour: the living room. It is fun to look back at my decor from previous years! I have to say, this one is by far my favorite with the backdrop of our new furniture and DIY picture frame molding.
I styled this pre-lit Christmas tree with wooden bead garlands, assorted metallic ornaments, burgundy velvet ribbon, and dried florals. The gold wood bead garland is a birch garland that I spray painted!
The garland over our arched mirror is the ever popular Norfolk Pine garland from Kirklands / Afloral. Unfortunately the garland is out of stock for 2022, but I’m linking it for future years.
To finish off our classic Christmas living room, I included my favorite burgundy throw blanket, whimsical candy cane pillows, and organic decor accents such as this extra large stone vase.
Check out my post with Christmas TV art! (We have the Samsung Frame, but you can display art on any TV.)
Classic Christmas Wreath
You may remember that I tackled this awkward space between our living room windows and sliding door a while back. To dress it up for the season, I added a classic pinecone and berry wreath adorned with plaid ribbon, jingle bells in a wooden bowl, and a small tree in a basket. Simple and festive!
Bedroom Refresh Sneak Peek…
I plan to share a full post about our bedroom refresh soon, but here is a peek. I recently added the Amber Lewis x Loloi Morgan rug and is the softest, prettiest rug I have ever seen. This is the 8’3″ x 11’3″ size under a king bed.
Honestly, I never got around to adding Christmas decor to our bedroom–anyone else feeling that way this year? Still, the jewel tones make this space seem festive to me.
If I had time, I would hang a mixed greenery wreath with velvet ribbon on top of the artwork and called it a day.
Thank you for stopping by!
