Merry Christmas friends! It’s Christmas home tour day! I’m so honored to be joining some blogger friends today for our Walking In a Winter Wonderland Blog Hop, hosted by Mansa from Simplicite. My name is Caitlin, and I love to share budget-friendly decor inspiration, seasonal home tours, and simple DIYs on my blog and Instagram. Today I’m sharing our minimalist Christmas home tour! Get inspired to create a cozy, festive home with winter greenery, wood and metallic accents, and holiday decor staples you already have. Let’s get started!

Simple Christmas Entry
Our entryway is one of my favorite areas of our home to style seasonally. I kept things simple this year with a few white Christmas houses, twinkle lights, and some faux cedar branches.
If you’ve been following along, you’ll know I participated in the One Room Challenge as a guest participant this fall! I loved the experience, but honestly, I’ve been a bit worn out since then. Keeping Christmas decor simple is a great way to relieve a little pressure during this busy season–and you’ll be thankful when January arrives, too! Lately simple is my love language when it comes to decorating 🙂
Minimalist Christmas Living Room
Sticking with the minimalist theme: here is our Christmas living room! A few simple additions (wooden reindeer, twinkle lights, obviously the tree!) and changes (swapping out pillow covers and throw blankets) add an extra layer of cozy without feeling overwhelming. Best of all? I might keep it up for a while after Christmas, for cheeriness in the cold months ahead.
We’ve made quite a few changes in the living room since last Christmas! See my 2018 Christmas home tour!
Minimalist Christmas Tree Decor
Most of our Christmas tree decor is the same as last year, but I did add this pretty wooden garland, and the glitter snowflakes which were only a dollar each at Target! You may have also noticed that I put the tree in the opposite corner, which keeps it a bit more out-of-the-way for my two young kiddos.
New Modern Media Console!
The big change in our living room is our new IKEA media console. We made it using the Besta system, and it was so budget friendly! We are loving the added storage space and the sleek look so much.
Minimalist Christmas Home Tour: A Few More Details
And here are a few final cozy details! I was happy to partner with Lynch Creek Farm this season. They kindly sent us their Snowberry Glow centerpiece, made of fresh greenery and a few faux accents. It is so lovely and smells just like Christmas!
