Airy Room Decor and Spring Home Tour

Welcome friends! Perhaps this post is a bit late, seeing as it is the end of April, but I still wanted to share a spring home tour this year! Seasonal tours are so inspiring to me, and I love the airy room decor of spring and summer. We’ve made some changes throughout our spaces recently and I’m excited to share. This season I’m loving muted tones and a subtle coastal vibe. Come on in, I’m so glad you are here.

Light and Airy Entryway Design

Our entryway has seen a few changes since last time I shared this space. To give it a little refresh, I added a vintage landscape print that I already had and wooden bead garland. I also swapped out my greenery and lampshade for a subtle change. I’m loving the softer, coastal look for spring.

Airy Living Room Design

Our living room has seen quite a few changes since Christmas! The corner by the gallery wall stumped me for a while, but I finally added this faux olive tree. I love that it rounds out the room while still feeling light and airy. In addition, we are still loving our IKEA media console!

The biggest change in our living room is this beautiful blue vintage style rug. This is hard to believe, but it is machine washable! We do a lot of snacking in this room, so let’s just say I feel much calmer now.

I love to swap out our pillow covers seasonally, and a few changes go a long way. Choosing a color palette with three or four colors keeps the look interesting yet restful. Muted blues and neutrals invoke the feeling of the coast and keep the room airy.

Airy Bedroom Styling

Update: We recently added rattan sconces to our bedroom and I feel that this space is finally complete! I just shared a large collection of bedroom wall sconces at different price points if you are interested.

Airy Guest Room Design

This is the first time I have shown our guest bedroom since my boho bedroom makeover for the One Room Challenge last fall! To make this room feel more airy, I swapped out the terracotta euro pillows for neutral ones from Homegoods (similar). I think the smaller pillows really allow the cream headboard to shine.
