This cozy fall tablescape evokes the warmth of autumn with muted tones and lots of texture. Keep reading for affordable finds and styling tips!
Happy October friends! It seems like the perfect day to share our dining room styled for the season. I created a cozy fall tablescape that you could use for a party, family gathering, or just an ordinary yet festive dinner at home. I love the warm, earthy tones of autumn and all of the cozy layers this time of year! But also enjoy keeping things simple and minimal as usual. I have lots of budget friendly tablescape finds to share, including several little pumpkin options if you like that look. I hope you find this post helpful as you plan for fall entertaining!

Muted Fall Color Palette
When styling our dining room, I like to begin by choosing colors. I typically use napkins and florals to set the tone for the space, since my tablescape staples are neutral. Rust napkins and subtle orange pampas grass (similar) are the stars of this look. Here are some more pieces that would help create a fall color palette:
Cozy Tablescape with Fabric Pumpkins
When I saw these fabric pumpkins from Target, I knew they would be perfect for a fall table! They are linen with twine wrapped stems and just the cutest. I stacked them on top of my favorite gold fluted chargers (similar), stoneware plates, and the cloth napkins simply folded. You may have noticed that I completely forgot to add flatware–oops! But any tone would work here, black, stainless, or gold. More pumpkin and table setting options:
Neutral Fall Stems
Is there anything better than fall florals? I decided to go with simple pampas stems–they are unfortunately no longer available, but these are very similar. Pampas grass provides great texture and can be used year round! But I love classic autumn leaves too (I used them last year!) or fall flowers. Here are several finds:
Cozy Finishing Touches
To finish off this space, a plaid throw draped over a chair adds warmth, as well as a few earthy toned pillows (similar). In the second photo below, you can see how I would style this space for daily use without the plates–simply corral the pumpkins in a wooden bowl.
