Hello friends! Today is a special day–I am honored to be a part of the Blogger’s Best Holiday Home Tour 2020. You will be able to virtually walk through over thirty homes decorated for the season, and (hopefully) be inspired along the way as you plan your own festive decor! If you have arrived from Lindsay’s beautiful home, welcome. A big thank you to Mansa from This is Simplicite and Kelly from The Tattered Pew for hosting. For my portion of the tour, I will be sharing our neutral Christmas home tour through the entryway, dining room, and living room. I’m keeping things simple this season with festive greenery, metallic ornaments, cozy textures, and lots of twinkle lights. Cozy up with some hot cocoa and let’s begin!

Neutral Christmas Home Tour: Entryway
I always enjoy styling our entry console for the seasons. I kept things simple with faux cedar branches (similar), brown bottle brush trees, and twinkle lights! I also snagged this vintage fabric print from our living room and think it adds extra coziness.
Neutral Christmas Home Tour: Dining Room
The next stop on this neutral Christmas home tour is the dining room. This is my first time adding a tree to the dining room for Christmas! I recently made over this space for the One Room Challenge which took the room from builder grade “bleh” to something special. Our dining room doubles as a play room for our two young kiddos, so I am always moving toys around when I take photos 😉 The cube organizer is a great place to hide toys and games. The star of the show here is our king noble fir artificial tree (gifted to me as a part of a collaboration on Instagram). I love the sparse look and kept it minimal with metallic ornaments and wood bead garlands.
Modern Christmas Living Room
I will be sharing more photos of our wintery living room next week, but wanted to give a sneak peek here! I still love our cashmere artificial Christmas tree that I purchased a few years ago, and dressed it up with some wine colored ribbons. We have since added our family ornaments to this tree, so it is much more “collected” looking now 😉 As much as I enjoy a minimal look, it is so special to see our keepsakes and to decorate with the kiddos. Do you use family ornaments on your tree, or stick to one style? Leave me a comment below!
Thank you so much for stopping by Caitlin Marie Design today. To continue on today’s tour, hop over to Paula’s beautiful home. You may also find all of the homes on our tour linked below:
