Bedroom Wall Sconces in Our Home
Since we have plug in wall sconces in our primary bedroom and guest room, I wanted to include some photos here!
Flynn Wall Sconce (Brass, Wicker Shade)
For our primary bedroom, I chose the Flynn Wall Sconce from Serena & Lily. These were a splurge for me, but I am still so happy with them three years later! For a similar look on a budget, check out these wicker sconces from Target or these ones from Wayfair.
Claremont Swing Arm Wall Sconce (Aged Brass)
Years ago I gave our guest room a makeover for the One Room Challenge and had the opportunity to work with Hudson Valley Lighting. They sent me their Claremont Swing Arm Sconces in aged brass and they are stunning and so high quality. However, you can achieve this designer look on a budget! Try these brass sconces from McGee & Co for a more affordable option.
Coastal Bedroom Update With Wicker Sconces
This section is from the original posting date in the spring of 2020. I wanted to keep it because it is always fun to see how our spaces have changed over the years. Tap to see our current primary bedroom decor!
Vintage Landscape Wall Art
A few things have changed in this space since my last update. First, I added the wide landscape painting above the bed. The vintage look and coastal hues set a serene tone for this space! Here is the landscape artwork which I had it printed on a 55″ x 22″ custom canvas.
2023 update: You can no longer order custom canvas sizes but choose “pano” to create a wide canvas like this.
Bedroom Area Rug
Another addition since my previous update is the rug! I don’t love the shag carpet in here and was happy to add another layer. I worked with Well Woven to feature their Stella Blue Modern Vintage Rug and love the pop of color it adds.
Wicker Bedroom Sconces
Finally, I purchased two of the gorgeous Flynn Wall Sconce from Serena and Lily with antique brass accents and wicker shades. Apart from the texture and coastal vibe they add, I love how the sconces swivel side to side. I am able to push them out of the way while making the bed, and move them back for cozy nighttime reading.

So, are you team wall sconce or table lamp for your bedroom? Both looks are beautiful, but the functionality of the sconces was the deciding factor for me.
Finally, let me know which bedroom wall sconce from the roundup is your favorite! XO,
I love your coastal master bedroom! Thank you for all of the sconce choices and different price points! Just beautiful!!!
Where did you get the rug??
Hello Dana! Here is a link to the rug: https://rstyle.me/+HL7h7gsS7IL34MvYy_idfQ It is currently out of stock but you can sign up for alerts 🙂
I love everything. Did you print this art to a wrapped canvas? Who did you use?
Thank You 😊
Hi Janet! Thank you so much! Yes, this is a traditional thick wrap canvas from Canvas on Demand 🙂 Hope that helps!
I am wanting to do the exact print and size of art you did above your bed. I looked on the website where you had your canvas printed and I didn’t see anywhere to get the 55×22 size. Did you have to order it custom through them ?
Hi Trisha! Try this link: https://www.canvasondemand.com/order/canvases/ Scroll to the bottom where it says “Custom Traditional Canvas,” then select a custom size, then select “thick wrap.” Hope that helps! 🙂
Beautiful room!! I love that print and I would love to get it framed or on canvas above my bed. Can you tell me where to get this print. I wasn’t able to open the link you sent.
Thanks, Nikki
Thank you so much Nikki! I’m sorry that the previous link did not work. Here it is: https://bffprintshop.com/collections/vintage/products/saphire-lake . I did print it larger than the recommended size, but from the distance you are viewing it, it looks fine! Mine is 55×22 and I had it printed on a traditional thick wrap canvas from Canvas on Demand. Hope that helps! 🙂
So gorgeous!! Is this a queen or king size bed shown in the photo? Love it!
Hi Amber! Thank you so much 🙂 This is a king bed!
Hi! I can’t for the life of me find how to custom the art you recommend to 55×22! I went to the direct link you posted above! Help! Thx!
Hello Elisa! I recently noticed that Canvas on Demand does not seem to be offering custom sizes any more 🙁 I cannot find it either! So sorry about that!
I wanted to post an update here for 2023! You can no longer order custom sizes from Canvas On Demand but you CAN choose “pano” to create a wide canvas like this. Ours is 55″ x 22″ over a king size bed for reference.
