White pumpkins, cozy blankets and pillows, and pops of gold make a simple entryway festive for fall.
Our little entryway is one of my favorite areas to play around with seasonal decor. I love how small changes, such as adding pumpkins or swapping vases, can completely alter the feel of the space. I shared our bright, summery entryway last month, and today I’m excited to share our simple fall entryway decor!

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my Labor Day finds in my stories last week. At first I wasn’t sure how to style this hefty hammered gold vase, but then I remembered that eucalyptus solves all problems 😉 I love how the pop of gold echoes the rich colors of changing leaves. A metallic gold pillow placed diagonally from the vase creates balance.
We are still loving this simple, sturdy table that our friend Bryan built for us, based on the Ana White Rustic X Console Table. The walnut stain on the top really warms up the space and provides a neutral backdrop for our ever-changing entryway decor. Thank you Bryan!
After experimenting with more color in this space, I decided to stick with white pumpkins and to allow the wood tones and metallics to shine (literally and metaphorically 😉 ). As much as I love the idea of going pumpkin picking, we haven’t made it out yet—but I found these pretty white pumpkins at my local Walmart.
With so many autumnal literary quotes to choose from, I had to keep my letter board up for the season. This quote by William Cullen Bryant is one of my favorites; for me it evokes childhood memories of chilly faces, acorn collecting, and jumping in mountains of crisp leaves.
I’m not sure if anyone else did this, but we used to pile the fallen leaves on old sheets to drag them to the back of the yard. And of course, my sister and I rode on the sheets more than we helped 🙂
Not much has changed on this bottom shelf, but I did add the cotton stems for texture. They also conveniently hide an electrical outlet, woohoo!
Finally, I swapped out my summery botany prints (actually old book pages) for a few that reminded me of fall. The purple berries and bright orange flowers add just a touch of color and whimsy.
Refreshing our decor for a new season brings me so much joy. I love the task of collecting pretty and useful pieces that reflect our style and make our home feel inviting. Our entryway makes me smile each time I walk (or chase my toddler) past 🙂 What are your favorite spaces to decorate for the seasons? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
